It’s all about the art...and the bling. Over 40 jewelry designers from across the state will descend on Lake County to showcase their original art-to-wear pieces at the first Mount Dora Jewelry and Accessories Show that runs September 30 through October 1.
The show, produced by Mount Dora Center for the Arts, will sprawl the main hall of Lake Receptions with accessories handcrafted utilizing a range of techniques and fine materials including sterling silver, semi precious stones, pearls, copper and leather and be offered in various price points.
Many of the featured artists also exhibit at some of the best art shows across Florida, so this weekend's event provides a sneak preview of new pieces created for the upcoming festival season.
The show runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days at Lake Receptions located at 4425 N. Highway 19A in Mount Dora. Attendees will receive a wristband for re-entry. Food and drink is available for purchase or guests can dine at one of the nearby restaurants and return.
Admission is a five dollar donation at the door. One dollar from every admission will be donated to Lake Cares Food Pantry.
