As part of Florida’s reopening, the W.T. Bland Public Library will reopen to the public on Monday, June 15, with limited hours and capacity. The library will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. as part of Governor Ron DeSantis’ Phase II re-opening of Florida. On June 19 and June 26, the Library will close at noon.
The maximum capacity of patrons inside the facility will be 25 people at one time.
Library employees are asking visitors to follow the floor signs as designated. Entrance will be granted only at the main parking lot door at the rear of the building. The exit will be the door facing Donnelly Street.
The library has rearranged furnishings to allow for social distancing. Tables and small study rooms may be used with only one person per room for one hour out of the day. At this time the Community room is closed and there are no classes, meetings or story times scheduled at this time.
Visitors may stay for no more than 60 minutes to make room for other patrons. The library is offering senior hours by appointment on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. only.
