Some makeovers are long overdue. Harold, a stray Spaniel, was found this week severely neglected near Fruitland Park. Lake County Animal Shelter staff removed nearly 6 pounds of matted fur and the 5-year-old pup is already feeling and looking much better.
Anyone with information about Harold’s previous owner should call the Lake County Sheriff's Office non-emergency line at 352-343-2101.
Harold is available for adoption beginnning July 20 and will require regular grooming and would do best in a quiet home due to vision limitations. Anyone interested can meet him at Lake County Animal Shelter at 28123 County Road 561 in Tavares.
