The Kindness Closet is a project established by Mount Dora Buzz to provide local children and adults in need one of their most basic needs--clothing. 

The project is a large, local network of compassionate souls created to assist with getting new and gently-used clean clothing into the hands that so desperately need them. 

The Kindness Closet also provides advantaged kids in our community the opportunity to clean their closets to find clothing they believe their disadvantaged peers would take pride in wearing. Adults can do the same. The whole process is remarkably simple, yet humbling and rewarding. 

Distribution will be coordinated with local schools and churches, as well as Lake Cares Food Pantry, Mount Dora Police Department, Guardians Ad Litem and directly to local families or adults in need.
