WEKIVA PARKWAY PROJECT IN MOUNT DORA

This 25-mile toll road project, an extension of SR 429,  will connect Lake County to metropolitan Orlando.   The completed beltway will connect to State Road 417 and finish the beltway around Central Florida.  This estimated $1.6 billion project will conveniently link north Lake County to Seminole and Orange Counties and reduce traffic and travel times.  Construction on the Mount Dora sections is scheduled to begin in late summer or fall of 2017 and finish in 2019. The overall parkway should be open to traffic by the end of 2021.

Below are images of the project near Mount Dora and drone footage.  Learn 10 things you need to know about the Wekiva Parkway here.

The flyover ramp will accommodate motorists heading south on US 441 who want to go east on SR 46 toward the parkway. US 441 is shown here left to right; SR 46 runs top to bottom of this image.
