Bikers will descend into Lake County by the thousands this weekend and Eustis is welcoming them with open arms. The city will host second annual Bikefest Eustis Music Festival April 28 - 30 in Ferran Park.
The three-day event touts the stunning ride around Lake Eustis and promotes the city as a festive destination for Leesburg Bikefest attendees. The festival features continuous live music, free bike parking, local food vendors and drink specials.
The Music Festival kicks off at noon on Friday, April 28 and last until 10 p.m. It will continue from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday from from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Live music includes performances by Ultimate AC/DC Tribute Band, The Bearded Brothers Band, Bad Mannerz, the Buddy Blues Band, Southern Chaos, Highway Starz and JW Gilmore & The Blues Authority. On Sunday at 11 a.m., LakeHaven Church will host a worship service and bike blessing.
In conjunction with the Music Festival, downtown Eustis will also host The Moving Wall Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Several community events related to the Moving Wall will be hosted at the Lake Eustis Museum of Art, Bay Street Players Theatre and Trout Lake Nature Center.
