This year the Independence Day fireworks and festivities are spread across three days in Mount Dora, Tavares and Eustis. Lake County is the place to be this year for impressive fireworks shows. Here's your guide to what's happening:
JULY 1, EUSTIS
All the activities are centered around Ferran Park downtown and include a Kids Zone with a Splash Pad, sailboat rides, face painters, balloon animals and arts and crafts. The celebration will also feature Nashville recording artist Jimmy Stanley.

JULY 3, MOUNT DORA
The city's "Freedom on the Waterfront" celebration at downtown's Evans Park will have live music, activities for kids and fireworks.
4:00 Festivities begin

JULY 4, MOUNT DORA
Independence Day Parade will roll through downtown Mount Dora beginning at 10 a.m. Best vantage point is anywhere on Donnelly Street.
JULY 4, TAVARES
"Let Freedom Ring" party begins at downtown's Wooton Park. The festivities include live music, kids' rides, food trucks, photo booth, face painting, balloon artists. Live music will feature Blonde Ambition. The Big Red Bus will also be on hand for blood donations.
3:00 Entertainment begins including a water ski show by Lakeland Water Ski Club
5:00 Parade travels through Main Street and Ruby Street.
