No place celebrates fall like Mount Dora, Tavares & Eustis!  From craft fairs and fall festivals to scary Halloween fun, there is always something for everyone.  Here are the area's annual round up of the best local events of the season.  Please note dates and hours may change at operator's discretion.

Fall in the Field
October 3 & 4, 2026
Activities: The best event for fall decor, heirloom pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and varieties, plus extensive vintage shopping. Free parking.
Hours:  9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission:  Free
Location:  Renningers Antique Center, 10651 U.S. Highway 441 Mount Dora

Fall Festival Weekends & Corn Maze
September 26-November 15, 2026 (weekends only)
Activities:  Corn mazes, bounce pillow, super slide, catch-and-release fishing, night mazes,  
Hours:  Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.   Last entrance is 4 p.m.  Visitors should get there early to avoid long lines.  Hours are subject to change. 
Admission:  $16 online

​Santa's Pumpkin Patch
Fridays and weekends beginning in late September through October, 2026
Activities:  Hay rides, bounce pillow, giant slide, farm animals, barrel train, and wood maze. Plus plenty of pumpkins are available for purchase.  Some activities require additional purchase.
Admission:  $23 at the gate (if available), $20 online in advance
Location: Santa's Farm, 35317 Huff Road, Eustis
Hours:  Hours vary, so check the farm for hours on specific dates and special event admission prices

Fall Whimsey Market
October 10, 2026
Activities:  Vendor market, plus farm store and food vendors.  
Admission:  Free
Days/Hours:  11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Mount Dora Fall Festival
October 17, 2026
Activities:  Live music and art, drone show, kids' activities, food and drinks available for purchase, and more.
Admission:  Free
Hours:  5 to 9 p.m.
Location:  Sunset Park, downtown Mount Dora

Fall Festival
September 19 through November 22, weekends only
Activities:  pumpkins, tractor rides, flower fields, play areas, plus food and drinks available for purchase.
Admission:  Starts at $20

Rocktober Fest & Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-in
October 17, 2026
Hosted by the City of Tavares, this annual event features live rock music, contests, food trucks, and vendors.  Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In starts at 11 a.m.  
Hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Admission: Free

REALLY Scary Stuff!

Dr. Grimley's Haunted Trail
October 10 through 31 (weekends only)
Activities:  October brings a new season of fear and plenty of surprises lurking in the darkness. It's an intense and scary experience that's not for the faint of heart.  Enter if you dare! 
Hours:  8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Admission:  Tickets start at $30

Fear Reach Scream Park 
October 2 through October 24, 2026 (Fridays & Saturdays only)
Activities:  A super spooky night of fun not for the faint of heart. The Halloween-themed event features two spine-chilling, haunted venues with live actors, midway games, a full bar, live music by The Dismembered, and food available for purchase.
Days/Hours:  Every Friday and Saturday evening for three weeks in October. Hours vary by day.
Admission: Tickets start at $30 and must be purchased in advance online.

Halloween Pet Parade & Costume Contest
October 18, 2026
Hours:  4 p.m. (registration for pets at 3:30pm)
Join Piglets Pantry for its annual event with pet costume contest in fun categories like 
cutest, spookiest, funniest, most creative & best family group.
Local rescues will be at the event, and proceeds will benefit them.
Location:  Sunset Park
Admission:  Free to watch.  Pet parade registration is $10-12 and benefits local dog rescues. 

Trunk-or-Treat Eustis
Saturday, October 24, 2026
6:00 to 9 p.m.
Activities: Candy galore, fun games and activies, plus kids' costume contest, food trucks and more.

Boo! Fest
