No place celebrates fall like Mount Dora, Tavares & Eustis!  From craft fairs and fall festivals to scary Halloween fun, there is always something for everyone.  Here are the area's annual round up of the best local events of the season.  Please note dates and hours may change at operator's discretion.

October 5 & 6, 2024
Activities:  The best event for fall decor, heirloom pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and varieties, plus expansive vintage shopping.  Read more

Lil' Bit o Life's Fall on the Farm
September 22, 2024
Activities:   Pumpkin patch, barrel train rides, pony rides, photo ops, and more.
Hours: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Admission: $12, plus pony rides

Violette Hill Hay Farm Fall Festival
September 28-Oct 31 (weekends only)
5505 N. Orange Blossom Trail, Mount Dora
Hours:  10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Activities:  Animal encounters, pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, corn hole, pumpkin bowling, toddler games, photo ops, plus food and craft vendors. Pony rides and face painting for an additional fee.
Admission:  $12 per person, kids two and under two free.  Family 4-pack $40. Tickets sold at the farm.

Long & Scott Corn Maze Adventure
September 28 - November 24, 2024 (weekends only)
Activities:  Corn mazes, bounce pillow, super slide, catch-and-release fishing, night mazes,  
Hours:  Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors should get there early to avoid long lines.  Hours subject to change 
Location:  26216 County Road 448A, Mount Dora.

​Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch at Santa's Farm
Fridays and weekends beginning September 29 to November 2, 2024
Activities:  Hay rides, bounce pillow, giant slide, farm animals, barrel train and wood maze. plus plenty of pumpkins are available for purchase.  Some activities require additional purchase.
Admission:  Starts at $17.95 on weekends and $9.95 on weekdays. Kids two and under are free.

Sunsational Farms Fall Festival 
Every Saturday from September 28 to October 26, 2024
Activities:  Carnival games, bee train, face painting, bounce house and u-pick mini pumpkins.  Some activities require a separate ticket purchase.  There are also u-pick sunflowers and mini-pumpkins.  
Days/Hours:  Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Eustis Fall Festival
September 19, 2024
​Hosted by the City of Eustis, this family-friendly event features an inflatable corn maze and costume contest for kids in various categories.  
Hours:  10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rocktober Fest & Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-in
October 19, 2024
Hosted by the City of Tavares, this annual event features live music, contests, food trucks and vendors.  Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In at 11 a.m.  
Hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

REALLY Scary Stuff!

Fear Reach Scream Park 
September 28 through October 31, 2024
Activities:  A super spooky night of fun not for the faint of heart. The Halloween themed event features live actors, a full bar, live music and food available for purchase.
Days/Hours:  Every Friday and Saturday in October from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Dr. Grimley's Haunted Trail

Activities:  This year there are double the trails during this intense and scary experience that's not for the faint of heart.  Enter if you dare!

HALLOWEEN FUN

Boo! Fest
October 25, 2024
Hours:  6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This free family-friendly event features a large trunk-or-treat area with tons of free candy, a DJ with great music, food vendors, a creepy tent for kids, a costume contest, a movie in the park, and more!

October 26, 2024
Hours:  3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Activities:  Kids can come in costume for the farm's version of Trick-or-Treat.
