ADVERTISING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Are you an energetic self-starter?   Mount Dora Buzz has been the local news source for Mount Dora, Tavares and Eustis, Florida since 2006. Our market saturation is achieved through our 5 different media platforms, including a monthly update to subscribers, a highly-trafficked regional website, a dynamic mobile app and the largest social media following of all Lake County media outlets.  
The Account Executive will work remotely and be responsible for outside sales of digital advertising, public relations and marketing services to corporate clients.  Excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
Requirements:
  • Professional appearance & demeanor
  • Proven self-starter and self-motivated
  • Outside sales experience
  • General knowledge of advertising and/or marketing principals
  • Digital media savvy
  • Sense of humor
  • Reliable transportation
  • Digital marketing experience a plus, but not required.

Generous commission commensurate with experience (no draw or salary).

INTERNSHIPS

REPORTER
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and curious journalism student to learn and and get news stories published.  You won't be getting anyone coffee or filing paperwork, instead you'll actually be reporting local news, meeting deadlines and getting the byline.  The right candidate will be dependable, passionate, deadline-oriented and have a good sense of humor. VIDEOGRAPHER
