MOUNT DORA'S REAL ESTATE GUIDE

Mount Dora boasts an abundance of beautiful neighborhoods. Whether you're looking for established lakefront areas, newer communities or charming historical neighborhoods,  you'll find it here.  To help make your home search easier, this guide breaks neighborhoods down into four categories:  older neighborhoods, planned developments, gate communities and lakefront neighborhoods.  

For pricing reference, the median home's selling price in 2016 is $182,950 and $110 per square foot.  View aerials of the area here.

These neighborhoods range from charming historic homes and 1950's bungalows to

Features:   Walking distance to downtown's restaurants, shops, lakefront and multiple parks.  Some of the oldest home are from the late 1880's.

The city also has neighborhoods developed in the 1980s or later with varying amenities.  Some developments feature custom homes, while others offer various sizes and models of tract homes.

Mount Dora is known for its scenic lakes.  Lake Dora is on the Harris Chain of Lakes.  The other lakes are landlocked and some are seasonal bodies of water.  Lake Gertrude is a spring-fed lake.
