THE DONNELLY HOUSE
This historic Victorian home, dubbed the "Gingerbread House," was built in 1893 by J.P. Donnelly, Mount Dora's first mayor. In 1975, the Donnelly House was added to the National Registry of Historic Places and now home to Masonic Lodge No. 238., The home has become one of the most photographed landmarks in the city. MOUNT DORA HISTORY MUSEUM
Tucked into a downtown alley, this building was formerly Mount Dora's jail. Now guests can take a self-guided tour of this tiny museum packed with historical tidbits of Mount Dora.
