THE WOW! FACTORY

THE WOW! FACTORY

The sounds of customers' low snickers and exuberant bursts of laughter can be strong indicators of success.  At least that's true for one downtown Mount Dora business.   Filled to near capacity with whimsical gifts, hilarious cards, sarcastic t-shirts and interesting art pieces, the WOW! Factory succeeds in bringing broad smiles to the faces of those that dared to step inside.

Local residents have long recognized the store's original mix of products as a favored destination for gifts for everyone from a boss to a best friend, providing they have a healthy sense of humor.  There is the buddha butter dish, whimsical kitchen tools, bold socks and dozens of greeting cards that treat every occasion with wonderfully excessive humor.  There are also collections of artisan jewelry and decor to satisfy the store's creative-minded customers.

The WOW! Factory originally opened in 2005 on 5th Avenue and re-opened in its current location 3 years ago after a brief hiatus.  The owners,  Bill Sievert & John Theis moved to Mount Dora after residing in Delaware, and Washington, D.C. where they also owned stores.

The WOW! Factory,  located at  117 E. 4th Avenue, downtown Mount Dora.
