I am so disappointed that they felt the need to clear cut this property. If they were responsible builders, they would have surveyed where they were putting the houses and the roads and cleared only those areas. They could have left some of the beautiful oak trees that make Mount Dora so charming. Instead, we get the blatant destruction of beautiful trees and habitat. What a disgusting waste! This is totally Mount Dora Buzz Kill.

Living on Clayton it will just add to the terrible traffic we have now. Cars are already speeding down our street with no regard to the 25mph speed limit. And we can't get any real help from the police. Can't wait for the traffic increase. May be time to put the house on the market

I've just bought a home here because I fell in love with its old world charm. I've been here 5 weeks and in that time they are cutting down the oaks complaining about the cute train noise and building like it's a major city. I sure wish my realtor had know all this was going to happen. I wwouldn't have bought here. Time to think about selling.

I can't believe they didn't leave one tree standing. I know that little woodsy area provided shelter and feeding grounds to owls, hawks, wild turkey, bear, bobcat, not to mention raccoon and armadillos. Why do builders have to be so destructive?
