What a fantastic addition this would make to our eco friendly , beautiful town . Check out the plan for a larger scale waterfront park in Indiana in the attached website . We can gain insights from that project !

This side of town would benefit greatly with the addition of the 12-acres of greenspace this gorgeous property would provide. While we do have Stein Park nearby, there are no facilities located there as are at so many other city parks. The parking garage though...not a fan of at all.

This idea is outstanding. It is a concept similar to Magnolia Park across from Lake Apopka on SR437. That is a beautiful park that attracts young families which is needed in Mount Dora. That park has a crosswalk with appropriate signage crossing busy 437. But this park is close to the heart of Mount Dora which makes it very special. Would be very nice addition to our town.

Concerning a 12 acre water front park being in exploratory stage, I recently spoke to Mt Dora city clerk assistant who stated the only information she could supply was a recording of past city council meeting where a council-person made a suggestion for this park. I am confused as to the real status of this project as no preliminary information is available to public. Thank you
