I think one of the things that made Mt. Dora what Mt. Dora is, is the fact that it was a rural community with very friendly people. It’s a great place to live and a fun place to visit. It’s really sad to see now, that’s all going to change.

Yes, uncontrolled growth is a terrible thing, but when you have greedy land speculators and real estate realtor sitting on boards, councils, commissions, this is what you get. Residential don't pay taxes, businesses pay taxes. So this abomination will not only not contribute in any real financial way, it will tax the already overburdened community services.

The new high school alone will make the traffic in this area a terrible situation. Adding the new developments will only add to the problem. I am sure we will be getting a Publix and probably a Super Walmart, several convenience

The thought of 1300 SF homes with a density of 2.4 homes per acre is an abomination for the Wolf Branch/ Round Lake area. Already over taxed on our roads and schools those of us who purchased land or homes in this area never expected the density to change so dramatically!

Just moved here 1.5 years ago to enjoy the country. With this and the proposed widening of Roundlake to 44 it’s time to go. Sickening!

The area is growing too fast, we’re not Clermont, FL with 5 lanes coming and going on each side still with bumper to bumper traffic. We are a small town in florida getting away from the “city” into more rural and country. Our roads are under developed to satisfy the needs of many more vehicles and people on the road. 376 homes, let’s just say a couple per home, 2 cars 376 X 2 = 752 more cars on the road. We have two lane roads, one coming and one going. How do you expect to alleviate busy roads? Clermont is getting overcrowded and now you’re bringing that to our area.

We live right across the way from this pasture land. The city of Mount Dora and council whom approved this cookie cutter style neighborhood clearly does not have set standards or a master plan for the “ Wolf Branch District”. This area is considered rural living. Having 2.4 homes on 1 acre is over crowded and does not meet the demographics of the area. How many neighborhoods like Sullivan Ranch do we need? Why not keep this area unique and keep these developers from pocketing high dollars. Our community is going to pay the price trying to deal with the over crowded roadways and schools. It would make much more sense to develop the business side of the Wolf Branch District rather than slap up single family homes.

If you take away the 70 acres of green space -- and don't kid us, the developer didn't 'set aside for the wetlands, they were required by law -- you are actually looking at about 5 units per acre. This is sad and not keeping with the character of the surrounding area, not to mention a morally vacant cash grab by the city. Shame on you, Mount Dora. There are ways to bring affordable housing without selling out the very people who voted you in for the benefit of out of town developers and new residents who have never even been here.

Truly disgusted by this turn of events. Our lovely rural community is being ruined! I don't recall hearing about any proposals for this large of a development, we should have a say about projects that impact our lifestyle!

I guess toll roads are the only thing they know how to put in here in central Florida. How about a monorail? and a bike path in some of these areas to alleviate traffic? I understand there will be sprawl. I would like to see Mount Dora stay quaint and rural. However toll roads are not the answer for Orlando's Sprawl which by the time they are completed will not handle the increased traffic that has taken place their inception. On another note, why would you put in a fly over and another stop light on 441? why not leave the bridge as it was and just fly over that in two directions or at he very least a round-about.
