COMMUNITY ASKED TO 'STUFF THE BUS' WITH FOOD

The 11th Annual Stuff the Bus food drive, benefitting local food pantries, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Publix on David Walker Drive in Eustis.

 Lake County Transit Division staff and volunteers will be collecting nonperishable food to be stuffed inside a Lake County Connection bus. The food gathered during the campaign will be donated to local food pantries directly helping those in need in the local community.

Nonperishable food items accepted for  donation include canned foods, dry soups, packaged pasta, peanut butter, tea bags and ground coffee, hot and cold cereals, rice, powdered milk, baby food and formula, cereal bars and pet food.
